Hello!
My website was hacked with malware, so I decided to do a GoDaddy backup…. I know I should have backed up my website myself… I didn’t. Once the website was restored to before the hack occurred; my permalinks have to be reset every two days. This is because I have a GoDaddy default 404 page on all of my pages/posts other than my home page (every two days). I thought it was a plugin that constantly caches my site, so I disable SEO Yoast and Wordfence. The problem still occurs every two or so days.
Go Daddy has been zero help, immediately disclaiming responsibility for what happened… understood, but I spent $150 for the backup and they only concentrate on how they are not at fault instead of trying to help me…
Does anyone have any experience with this permalink issue? GoDaddy has no realistic solution, so I am going here to see if anyone knows more, thanks!
